Product Description
We Know the GRE

The experts at The Princeton Review take the GRE and other standardized tests several times a year to make sure you get the most up-to-date, thoroughly researched books possible.

We Know Students

Each year we help more than two million students score high with our courses, bestselling books, and award-winning software.

We Get Results

Students who take our six-week GRE course have an average score increase of 212 points (verified by International Communications Research). The proven techniques we teach in our course are in this book.

And If It's on the GRE, It's in This Book

We don't try to teach you everything there is to know about English, mathematics, or analytic thinking. We just tell you what you need to know to score high on the GRE. There's a big difference. In Cracking the GRE, we'll teach you how to think like the test-makers and:

  • Eliminate answer choices that look right but are planted to fool you
Solve GRE analogies when you're not sure what all the words mean
Master the vocabulary words that appear most often on the GRE
Solve GRE algebra problems by "plugging in" numbers in place of letters
  • This book includes a full-length paper and pencil sample test. The questions are exactly the kind you'll see on the actual GRE, and we fully explain every solution.

Includes four full-length sample GREs on a Windows and Macintosh CD-ROM, plus the assessment test in the book! Quick feedback--predict your GRE score instantly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best there is for test prep!, April 19, 2000

    (REAL NAME)
The Princeton Review people really know what they are doing to help students prepare for the GRE. My scores were amazing, and I owe it all to this book! I especially was grateful for the sample questions and the guidelines for the logic portion. I only missed 3 questions in that section and scored a 780! Thanks, Princeton Review, for helping me succeed!
