Julie Stav, a financial planner and broker, was born in Cuba and came to the United States as a teenager. A former teacher, she is the founder/owner of Retirement Benefit Systems, a financial planning firm in California, and also runs a network of investment clubs. Known for her speaking engagements and investment guide videotapes, she has been profiled in the Los Angeles Times and other papers, has appeared on Lifetime's "New Atittudes" and the ABC Eyewitness News, and hosts a PBS-television series on personal finance.
