About the Author
Tori Haring-Smith has been a director, dramaturg, and translator for more than twenty years in academic and professional theatres. She has served as dramaturg for Trinity Repertory Company; artistic director for the Wallace Theatre in Cairo, Egypt; coordinated the Jane Chambers Playwriting Award; and is now Vice President for Educational Affairs at Willamette University.
Tori Haring-Smith is a director and instructor as well as administrator of the Jane Chambers Memorial Playwriting Award. Her experience in the theatre has shown her, time and time again, that actors constantly draw from the same sources for monologues.
