5.0 out of 5 stars Fun book!, September 25, 2007

I'm using this book with my homeschooled 5th grader that doesn't enjoy math but is actually very good at it. She's really enjoying this book, much more than she enjoys her text book. It's also helping me to identify clearly what her strengths and weaknesses are. We're doing it all orally. I think the grade range of 4-8 is pretty accurate. My daughter is right at grade level and we are within the book just where they suggest for a 5th grader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Class Warm up TOO pricey here, October 18, 2007
By Tsquared "Mrs, Tav" (PLYMOUTH, MA USA) - See all my reviews
This book is great as a warm up for class grade 7, it does seem very overpriced on the used market here right now. It is available on a popular auction site for around $6, and a few more for shipping. Here is is listed as $214.00 as a low price, what is up with that???? I use it everyday just to get the room settled and focused on math. I especially enjoy the first week when I discover that they really don't know how many days are in a year, or how many weeks in a year and why would they? This covers alot of things that you just can't squeeze in but are foundational.
