5.0 out of 5 stars Another love..., June 17, 2003
By ashley aten (Hill AFB, UT) - See all my reviews
This was such a good book, and i couldnt put it down. I loved every minute of it.
Kate and Tom Harper are happily married when she finds out she is pregnant. Tom is a huge football star, and when the people start giving him crap about his age, he goes bezerk, and ends up shooting himself, leaving him with the mental capacity of a five year old while his pregnant wife has to deal with the rest.
She then meets this handsom man, who is great to her son, Trygve, and its just a really great story.
Life does have its ups and downs, and its comforting to know how other people would handle it. A must read!

4.0 out of 5 stars A journey of Love, March 27, 2002
By Deanna Hockey (Sydney, Australia) - See all my reviews
I have been reading Danielle Steel's books for over 15 years now. Sometimes they do get a bit "all the same" with most of the characters being important, successful, beautiful people who live in "stately homes" and wear "important jewels and furs". Sometimes I think the characters are more about what they have then who they are. Despite this, I always enjoy her books - they are easy to read, romantic and make you forget about everyday life for a couple of hours while engrossed in the book. Personally I think her earlier books are more enjoyable and get more involved in the characters than some of the later books she has written.
This is one her better earlier novels. The story of Kate and Tom's love will have you hooked from the first chapter and reading how Kate survives on her own is one of courage and strength. Very enjoyable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Season Of Passion--A great read!, March 12, 2004
When I first seen this at the store I thought it sounded like a good book, and I was right! I really enjoyed it! I have been reading D Steel's books for a while now, and I have to say this is one of her better ones. (I have 41 of her books!)
Kate and Tom are happily married and when he gets to old for a football career, he goes crazy. Mentally handicapped from a failed suicide attempt, he has to stay in a home while Kate raises their son Tygue. Kate has to learn to trust again and come out of the reclusive lifestyle she has been living in for seven years--even her son isn't used to have a lot of people around! Overall, it's good and I reccomend it.
