Editorial Reviews
Product Description
The editors of Many Bloody Returns deliver the perfect howl-iday gift, with new tales from Patricia Briggs, Carrie Vaughn, and many more.

New York Times bestselling authors Charlaine Harris, Patricia Briggs, Keri Arthur, and Carrie Vaughn—along with eleven other masters of the genre—offer all-new stories on werewolves and the holidays, a fresh variation on the concept that worked so well with birthdays and vampires in Many Bloody Returns.

The holidays can bring out the beast in anyone. They are particularly hard for lycanthropes. Charlaine Harris and Toni L. P. Kelner have harvested the scariest, funniest and saddest werewolf tales by an outstanding pack of authors, best read by the light of a full moon with a silver bullet close at hand.

Whether wolfing down a holiday feast (use your imagination) or craving some hair of the dog on New Year’s morning, the werewolves in these frighteningly original stories will surprise, delight, amuse, and scare the pants off readers who love a little wolfsbane with their mistletoe.

About the Author
Charlaine Harris writes the New York Times bestselling paranormal fantasy series featuring Sookie Stackhouse (the basis for the HBO series True Blood) and the New York Times bestselling mystery series featuring sleuth Harper Connelly.

Toni L. P. Kelner is the award-winning author of the Laura Fleming Southern mystery series.

With the help of friends and fans (special kudos to Richelle Mead) I've been able to order some fun little things to give away to fans at signings.  Harper's working notebook and a small flashlight for investigating the Underground.  I'm really looking forward to seeing them when they come from the printer....

And of course I always have the cover post cards.

Well, it's official, since Amazon now has it listed:  Mean Streets will be out in early January of 2009!  Preliminary cover art looks very nice, too, although no official art is up yet--keep an eye out; it's going to be really sweet.

Meanwhile, there's still  Underground (Greywalker, Book 3) and  Wolfsbane and Mistletoe on the way.

More dates have been added to my Appearances schedule--including an Underground Tour date in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area this August.

And I now have cover postcards for Underground.  If you would like a postcard mailed to you, please send me your snail-mail address at kat[dot]rchrdsn[at]gmail[dot]com.

My husband and I are moving the boat to a new marina this weekend which will enable us to go sailing more frequently and with less transit time to the Sound.  Very exciting for little us!

Wow, I'm excited even if it is pretty last-minute.  My UK publisher has arranged a signing for me while I'm in England this month:

Murder One (central London's Mystery/SF/Romance Indie)
Thursday May 15
5-6 p.m.

Wheee!

And I finished the novella at 2:30 this morning and shipped that off to my US publisher, so things are definitely moving along and now I can relax for the weekend and get ready for England.

We'll be leaving the ferrets at "ferret camp" during our trip and they always act like they don't know who we are when we return.  I imagine they'll just blink at us and conjure cartoon-style thought-bubbles that read "who are you, again?  And why would we want to go home with you?  There's toys here, y'know.  What are you offering that's better?"  The furry little con artists.....
