Loved This Story....., December 13, 2004
Aisha Ford has written a humorous love story which connects the reader to the characters in such a way that they could very well be your next door neighbor, or the person you just had lunch with today, or maybe even just spoke with on the phone before you found your way to this website.Sabrina wants to change her life. She wants a promotion at work, she wants to lose a few pounds, as well as keep her checkbook balanced, get more involved in church activities, cut down on drinking coffee, just to name a few items on her New Year's Resolutions list and above all she does not want to fall in love...again!!! But unfortunately for Sabrina, her villanous boss, Darci accidently gets her hands on the list which allows her to put Sabrina in a very precarious position, with Darci calling all the shots. Since she knows Sabrina wants that promotion, (And Sabrina is the assistant to the assistant to Darci who is the Daily Talk Show Host) Darci persuades Sabrina (only because Sabrina's job is in jeopardy if she doesn't) to enter into a secret agreement with Darci that if Sabrina keeps ALL of her resolutions, ESPECIALLY the one about not falling in love, then Darci will not only give Sabrina a promotion, but a $10,000 bonus as well. But if she fails to keep just one of the resoltions, then Sabrina will more than likely lose her job. Oh yes. Keeping the agreement secret is important because they wouldn't want Avery (the Producer of the Daily Talk Show and ex-fiance to Darci) to find out. At least, Darci, who wants Avery back, doesn't want Avery to know about the agreement because he has recently taken an interest in Sabrina. So. Grab you a cup of coffee, unless you promised yourself that you would quit, and get a hot cup of cocoa instead, and get comfortable in a cozy spot and begin reading Flippin' the Script by Aisha Ford. I'm sure you will love it as I did!!
