Editorial Reviews

Product Description
In 1971, Arthur Ford gave Ruth Montgomery six predictions, published in A World Beyond. Every one has come true! In The World Before, he and the Guides offer secret lore of the past and startling new glimpses of the future.

Here is the extraordinary story of Creation and the fabulous lost worlds of Atlantis and Mu, the past lives of Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt, Jackie Onassis, Richard Nixon, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and other celebrities. The World Before forecasts things to come, among them:
-- A solution to the world's energy problem...
-- A reduction in crime throughout America...
-- The rise of a new national leader -- in Germany...

The World Before -- the dramatic and exciting book that will capture the imagination of everyone who seeks a deeper understanding of the mysteries of life.

From the Publisher
I love these Ruth Montgomery in which she channels through automatic writing the comments of her companions from the Other Side. This time she and they reveal the past and future secrets of the planet Earth. I like how she combines her belief and skepticism. She takes their dictation on stories and then later checks the facts. She was a cynical Washington columnist and became a believer in the paranormal. This book covers the story of Creation and the fabulous lost worlds of Atlantis and Mu and even the past lives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Johnny Carson, Richard Nixon, Barbara Walters, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, etc. Dramatic and exciting reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Appealing Concept., August 30, 1999
By A Customer
This book outlines the concept of there being Five gardens of Eden, not one, and a network of light guiding our planet. The five original races made choices that we today are still struggling with the consequences of, but as we hurttle toward the new millenium, we are finding more and more that the new age concepts of the 60's, 70's and 80's are not as much fancy as once thought. Very good for the spiritual seeker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Her books helped me understand, May 21, 2002
By "mystavalon" (San Marcos, Ca.) - See all my reviews
At a time when these subjects were taboo to speak about around the dinner table, it was difficult to understand where to turn for clarification, knowledge, etc. Ruth Montgomery's books helped me a great deal in finding that understanding, encouraged me to seek more knowledge, and develop my own abilities to the degree that I have now worked with assisting clients and law enforcement for the past twenty years. Without her books, I would not have had the understanding nor the knowledge on what I was dealing with regarding my own psychic abilities.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth reading, June 18, 2001
By T. Newbegin (Johnson City, TN) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I have owned this book for over a decade and have read it at least 3 times (maybe 4). Reason is, I like the book so much, I end up reading it every few years. It is extremely interesting to those seeking understanding of our earth's past. Ruth and her guides give us satisfying details about the lands of Mu and Atlantis and life on them, Mu being populated by simple and philosophical people with Atlantis being more populated by scientific and modern minds. I found it interesting that the people of Mu had to hide themselves from Dinosaurs (about 50,000 plus years ago) while paleontologists today theorize that dinosaurs have not walked the earth for over 65 million years. What are the paleontologists missing?

I also really enjoyed the Planetary Visits chapter. Ruth writes that the planets in our solar system are not only there for physical reasons but also spiritual ones. In between lives, our souls choose to visit and meditate on certain planets based on what area of soul development we seek. Each planets gives off certain vibrations and influences, for example, Venus for perfect love, Mars for curbing anger and warlike feelings, Uranus for truce and Saturn (with its rings, or halo as they call it) emanates from the adoration welling up from the souls there thinking of nothing but adoration for the creator. Makes you wonder about man trying to visit Mars and beyond. I guess we are not meant to go there physically but rather in spirit form for specific purposes of soul development.

There is much more this book offers but rather than write a lengthy review, just buy and read it and judge for yourself. Everytime I read it, I feel like I am getting a Pre-Historic world tour and I enjoy the subject of reincarnation as well.
