Product Description
A pretty young woman's heart lies in pieces, as her dashing young lieutenant leaves for the continent. When he returns years later, he seems to still adore her, although he is certainly worshiping her from afar as his eccentric sister meddles in their affairs. A grand dance will become the final proving ground, as she must deal with another handsome rake smitten by her charms. And through it all, Cupid readies one last arrow to break--or heal--two hearts! A Regency romance original. .

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much more than a teaser for Book 3, September 13, 2000
I haven't been able to read the first book in this series by Harbaugh, though I've read summaries and, of course, there are clues in this book as to what happened, so I don't feel too lost. With Cupid's Darts, though, I have to say that I agree with some of the other reviewers here. Kenneth and Aimee - and the anti-hero, Francis - held little interest for me. It was Psyche and Harry who provided all the humour and interest, and I really felt as if I was just skimming this book in order to allow me to get on to Psyche's story.

This is disappointing, because I usually rate Harbaugh's books much more highly. I do feel that I'll be rating the final book in the trilogy higher, though!

2.0 out of 5 stars Utterly pointless, February 22, 2000
By Thorn "thornsilver" (Forest Hills, NY United States) - See all my reviews
While I was totally enchanted with Cupid and Psyche, I could not care less about the title characters: Aimee and... what's his name again? The book does contain some amusing scenes, but I would have rather seen more Cupid/Psyche romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!, January 15, 1998
By A Customer
Ms. Harbaugh is a very original writer. She has written a great fantasy Regency with Cupid/Eros as one of the characters in the book and the source of the conflict. The story has humor and pathos and a lot of wonderful plot complications. Bravo!
