I wasn't really sure what to expect with this book. I depend on reading other people's reviews before purchasing books these days so since there weren't any reviews I had to take a chance on this one.

This book is very easy to read and Joe Nunziata uses his own stories and personal experiences in order to make his readers understand what he's talking about. I had a few of my own "ah-ha" moments that I haven't had in a long time while reading a book.

I didn't expect the book to start off with the reason why we aren't where we would like to be in our lives -- having to do with blocked chakras. That was a surprise. It was a pleasant surprise since I haven't read anything like it in any other "self-help" books. I have to say that he is definitely the first to include it in a book about selling.

My first critisism is that he should have gone into more detail about unblocking the chakras (since it's such a pivotal element in his technique about getting what you want in life) instead of only sharing a few paragraphs about it. He really missed an opportunity to help people change their lives by offering more than one technique in doing this. That, to me, was disappointing.

My second critisism is that he should have divided the book in Parts I and II. He goes from the first half of the book being on the "self-helpish/spiritual" stuff then, without warning, goes into the "selling" part without any kind of fluid bridge. It's like going from talking about art appreciation to talking about stock trading. The separation of making it two parts instead of running it altogether would have helped a lot.

I wish Joe would have gone into more detail about the chakras and gave more techniques to unblock them. He builds up using examples and makes a lot of sense as to why many of us fail over and over again...but then doesn't deliver when it comes to CHANGING all of that. I just wish there was more.

However, if you really want to SELL MORE then you need this book. His unconventional techniques on becoming emotionally detached yet focusing on "serving"...There is no need to struggle and try to beat out the competition while stuffing products and services down people's throats. You can DRAW SALES TO YOU almost effortlessly and Joe teaches you how to do that well.

I read a lot and very quickly, scanning for information I'm interested in, I can read a book in a week end. This book I found connected with my inner self in a way that made want to stop after each chapter and think about how it related to me. This is not about selling techniques as much as it is about being in touch with our feelings so we can deal with our weaknesses and overcome fears that might be holding ourselves back and preventing us from succeeding. I bought this book because the title intrigued me and I was not disappointed, I think is a must read, I highly recommended it.

7 Steps to a Stress Free Wedding
Joe is very innovative with the approach he takes of understanding the selling process. I have had over 20 years of sales experience and am finally starting to "get it" when it comes to this type of approach to sales. The big takeaway from Spiritual Selling is partnering with your customers to help them buy rather than "selling" them. (people never want to be sold but they love to buy). The world is full of negative people and they seem to find their way to sales more often than not. Learn from this book how to "go with the flow" and stay spiritual and you'll find success. Joe's own experience of going through 2 bancruptcies is an inspirational story in itself of fortitude and perseverance.
