Product Description
If you’re an entrepreneur, business owner, or sales professional, Gravitational Marketing offers a simple method for attracting customers without the hassle of traditional manual sales labor. If you want to sell more and work less, this book exposes the principles of easily and effortlessly attracting customers without cold calling, prospecting, or begging for business. With Gravitational Marketing, you can finally stop chasing customers and let them come to you.

From the Inside Flap

Wouldn't it be great if you could just sit there on your duff while customers came to you—with no need for cold-calling, prospecting, hard-selling, or flat-out begging for business? Too bad it doesn't work that way in the real world. Or does it?

In Gravitational Marketing, you'll discover just how easy it is to create a low-cost, high-powered marketing system that attracts a steadily growing stream of customers into your business day after day, month upon month, for years to come.

Marketing mavens Jimmy Vee and Travis Miller team up with celebrated rainmaker Joel Bauer to show you how to attract customers naturally. Following ideas and methods that have been thoroughly tested and proven by the savviest marketers in a broad spectrum of industries, you'll learn how to control, navigate, and respond to changes in that constantly evolving consumer landscape.

First, you'll have to clear your head of the misguided advice you've been getting from day one, including "you have to pay your dues" and "it's all about getting your name out there." Next, you'll learn how to make your business ESP—Enjoyable, Simple, and Prosperous—by creating an intelligent marketing system that positions you as an expert and causes qualified and interested prospects to come to you, begging to give you their business!

Central to your phenomenal new success is your firm determination to be master of your own marketing. Once you've taken charge, you'll find out how to identify and target the customers most in need of your product or service, create a compelling message that will draw those customers into your gravitational field, and choose the most efficient and effective media through which to contact them. You'll learn how to captivate new prospects with memorable presentations that will leave them begging for more; invigorate them with ingenious solutions to their problems; and motivate them to take the action you desire, while feeling that they are in complete control of the transaction.

Stop pounding your head against the wall trying to win over prospects who don't need what you're selling, won't return your calls, and couldn't care less about your grand ambitions. Read Gravitational Marketing and find out how easy and simple it is to naturally attract a steady steam of qualified buyers who seek you out, pay more, stay longer, and refer everyone they know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly effective methods delivered in an engaging, page-turning fashion, March 28, 2008
As a 20+ year veteran of marketing, I've helped hundreds of clients grow their businesses with millions of dollars of increased annual revenues. Last week, I purchased 20 copies of Gravitational Marketing to give to my best clients and friends. It's THAT good!

Jimmy and Travis have taken the best of the best practices in attraction marketing and put them into an easy-to-follow, systematic plan that ANYONE can use to increase their sales and profits. I know from experience ... This stuff works!

Even better ... they go beyond delivering great principles and tactics by presenting an action agenda that will serve as a roadmap for growth. In fact, on one page they even give a "secret" URL that people can visit to download some fill-in-the-blank computer templates to help apply the materials. At first, I thought it was a clever gimmick. THEN, I downloaded and tested the templates. All I can say is WOW. Even being a long-time, highly paid and highly successful marketer, I would easily pay 5 times the cost of the book for these templates alone!

I highly doubt that there is a marketing book out there that I haven't read (in either Academia or the mainstream). I've always recommended titles by my mentors Dan Kennedy (very tactical) and Jay Abraham (highly strategic). I still love those guys and the work they've done. But, NOW I'm recommending Jimmy and Travis! They have synthesized the strategic and tactical levels of marketing into a real system that can help any business owner or sales professional increase their income --- quickly and enormously!

2.0 out of 5 stars Save your money and go for more ethical plans, August 18, 2008
By A reader (Raleigh, NC) - See all my reviews
Let me start by saying that this book does have a few good ideas in it. In fact, implementing one or two of their clever plans might be well worth the cost of the book. So why do I rate it so low?

First, many of the other reviewers have hit the nail on the head when they say that this book is primarily material repackaged and not so well disguised from other books...many other books. If you're a savvy consumer, you already know most of what they have to say.

Second, but perhaps more importantly, most of their concepts revolve around shady-to-unethical tactics at worst, and unsavory intentions at best. Today's consumer is smarter than ever and is looking to do business with ethical types. If you trick people into opening your direct mail piece or lure them in with big promises and then fail to deliver, they'll flee!

Some of their suggestions break the Cardinal Sin: they waste people's time. Here's free marketing advice: NEVER waste a potential customer's time. And whatever you do, don't make them feel foolish for believing in you for one second.

I won't tell you not to buy it, but I can say that I won't be keeping my copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Marketing Book I've Read, March 12, 2008
I highly recommend Gravitational Marketing, The Science of Attracting customers. I read the book completely, then I mind mapped several chapters. I applied the techniques in chapter 9, Attraction through Personal Effort. Using the techniques on page 123, we were able to increase our leads by 47%. This resulted in 3 closed deals that we would not have gotten otherwise. Thanks to this book, I can easily track the results of implementing creative and easy to use techniques designed to PAINLESSLY bring in more leads. Another thing I really liked about this book was how much it broke marketing and advertising methods down to the basics as well as more advanced and sophisticated techniques. Read this book with pen, highlighter and paper because it is jam packed with techniques, methods and ideas to increase your business, and with a greater return for your advertising/marketing budget.
