I think the book is worth a read if you're interested in finding a different perspective than the current status quo. I also found another book called Stop Working by Rohan Hall to be an excellent book for people looking for changes in their lives.

I read this book and unfortunately I must disagree with each and every single review written here so far. I felt the book was boring and the stories were not as moving as you might expect.
I have the tendency of reading customers' reviews before purchasing a book - and I read a lot of books, and naturally a lot of reviews. I am amazed at how this is perhaps the first book for which ALL seventeen or so reviews give it Five stars. Moreover, many of the reviews don't mention anything but the name of the book and seem as an advertisement for the book itself. I would like to think I am wrong and real readers who have actually READ the book have offered a genuine response and feed back to those like myself who partially rely on them. But alas, that is hard to believe.
If the purpose of this book is, as stated by one of the "readers" is to "evaluate your action", how about start with that of your own? How is your indifference and lack of respect for those of us who read these reviews any different that the ones the books attempts at changing?
Extremely disappointing and frustrating to see that those who claim to be dedicated in making a difference and those that are not are all one and the same, just different apparell and style of presentation !

Writing reviews is usually not my style. As a reader, however, who has bought several copies of this book through amazon.ca both for my friends and myself, I felt compelled to express my opinion on Me to We. In a world where the false promises of media, advertisers and competition so often leave us bruised and in search of meaning and happiness, a Me to We philosophy for living is so important for all of us. Me to We not only helps illustrate how we are all interconnected and interdependent but also how we can find purpose, meaning and fulfilment by opening ourselves up to others and sharing those special God-given gifts each and everyone of us has. One does not need to be a president or prime minister, a Bill Gates or a Nelson Mandella to change the world. Each of us can leave our special mark on society by finding our own special talents and sharing these with others. In the process not only do we help to make the world a better place but we also become better and happier people. Me to We combines both a philosophy for living and examples of this philosophy from people of all ages. The stories are real, heartfelt, poignant, inspiring and can be duplicated. An important book for all ages!
