Although the stories are well known in Irish forklore, the stories could have been written a bit better. I found it to be a bit disjointed and not very suitable for young minds. When reading the book it feels as if the book was rushed through the production line if you know what I mean?

I baught a few ethnic story books for my son. I would like to pass a little of my background to my son. These are great little stories with a lesson similar to Aesop's Fables. It is missing pictures that are normally in storybooks but the stories are good. I would buy a second edition if it was published.
