A useful book. I'm glad I bought it. BUT... inspite of the great format; the patterns were less imaginative than I'd hoped. Particularly disappointing to me was the preponderance of feathers--most of them involve a lot of double stitched seams. I'd hoped for more diversity of single line designs. Many of the designs also involved several stops and starts; exactly what machine quilters are hoping to avoid.

Well worth buying. Patterns are placed on one side of the page to allow for easy tracing/copying to template plastic. It has the majority of the most common designs along with some originals. A great book for beginners and those who make their own templates!

These patterns are very precise and will copy easily to adjust for different size quilting areas. This book should be in every machine quilters library. The price is very economical for the number of patterns shown. The variety is very good. Hopefully others will offer more books like this at reasonable prices that the general public can afford.

Nothing continuous offered here, although a few could be altered. I would say a good purchase for a quilter without much reference yet and looking for quilting designs.
