From School Library Journal
Grade 3-6-This solid overview, written in simple and clear terms, has a workmanlike text appropriate for reports. Attractive full-color photos and reproductions and up-to-date maps add to the presentation. Emily McAuliffe's Pennsylvania Facts and Symbols (Capstone, 1999), any of Carole Marsh's Pennsylvania books (Gallopade, 1994), and Kristen Kane's K Is for Keystone (Sleeping Bear, 2003) have a similar scope and are also for this audience.
