Inside this 560-page, two-volume set, readers will discover the people and the programs that continue to make Cadillac a name associated with success. Intimate interviews with the major players from the days of Henry Leland and the Thirty to the days of Mark LaNeve and the Escalade accompany a litany of technological milestones and model descriptions. Cadillac at 100: Legacy of Leadership is destined to become the bible for both researchers and casual enthusiasts, a cornerstone for any collector s library. Joining primary author Maurice D. Hendry are Jeffrey I. Godshall, Tracy Powell and the late Dave Holls. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Cadillac reference book ever..., October 5, 2000
By Justin Hartley (West Hartford, CT USA) - See all my reviews
As a dealer of Cadillac and LaSalle books, I use Cadillac: Standard of the World every day to find answers for my customers who need hard-to-find historical information about their Cadillacs.

I don't know what I'd do without this unique reference.

Justin Hartley

5.0 out of 5 stars Standard of Cadillac Books, September 14, 2003
By David L. Moore (Napa, CA United States) - See all my reviews
Excelent book and great story. I had no idea that the founder of Cadillac (Henry lelend) was an American industrial hero. Its worth reading just for the history abought Mr. Leland. Of course has good coverage of many cadillacs as well. I would love to see it updated through 2001.
