Editorial Reviews

Review

Portraits of Degas' early career and details on his works use the Art Institute's extensive Degas holdings to provide visual embellishment. Expect a title light on discussion and heavy on visual images, with Boggs tracing patterns of experimentation and innovation which were key Degas contributions. -- Midwest Book Review --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars An amzing work of art on the artist, January 5, 2001
By Scot Lee (CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Degas (Basic Art) (Paperback)
This is a truly remarkable work of art. I reccommend this richly detailed novel for any one who is a fan of Degas, Impressionists, or just art in general.

Truly amazing.
