This gorgeous book takes readers on an armchair tour of the solar system, and includes some of the most recent images available of the planets, moons and debris that circle our sun. The prose is crystal-clear, telling us what we do and do not know about this corner of the galaxy. But the vivid pictures -- more than 300 of them in full-color -- are the main attraction, and deservedly so. They are simply beautiful. Considering what it delivers, Exploring the Solar System comes with a surprisingly low sticker price. It's a real bargain.
