My son and I both enjoyed this beautifully rendered book. The story is very interesting..a great example of children's literature.

3.0 out of 5 stars not for young children, March 30, 2009
By Clare L. Pollert (grand rapids, MI United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
this book was recomended to me for kindergarten age kids, and my 3 year old enjoys lots of older age reading material (even books w/o pictures like charlotte's web) when we read it to him, but this book was a bit long, and kinda creepy. it does have lovely illustrations, but the story is not a favorite for either of us.
