The modern graphics course has largely done away with board drafting as an intermediate step between the preliminary, rough sketch of a design and the initial prototype. I use this book for new engineers, "fresh outs", or those without much drawing experience. Today, many engineers graduate with great CAD knowledge but a very poor ability to communicate technical ideas on paper. This is an excellent resource so help remedy this problem.
