Very character-driven story with some heart-breaking parts, some uplifting, and plenty of horror and suspense. No flesh-eating monsters here (for a change), but the creatures are definitely as terrifying as any George Romero biting-types. A must-have for any zombie book collection.

Deadrush was an OK novel. Don't let the description on the back of the book fool you. It is not about thousands of zombies running loose on a city. There are actually 5. The only ones I really care about are the killer and Jude. The rest are boring. Afterage by Navarro is much better than this one.

This book is quite a find, peopled with characters one can care for, and laced with horrific events which keep the pages turning. I recommend this highly!

This novel was excellent! The moods and imagery were actually chilling! I give it an eight because the idea of zombies is a trite one, but this novel is still good.
