Although it's humorous, this British production has a dark undercurrent. It's told in the first person by Gary, a young man in his early teens from a middle-class family. His sister, Sharon, marries Magnus Moore, a millionaire movie-maker who is presently building the world's largest theme park. While at the park Gary, his siblings, and a friend discover that Magnus makes "snuff" films, with Sharon about to become the star of his next production. Taylor gives a good performance. While he doesn't differentiate characters, his voice is adroit and he performs the story with clarity and enough variation to keep one's interest.
