About the Author

Judy lives in Bozeman, Montana.

Joan Novelli, a former teacher, is a contributing editor of Instructor magazine and editor of numerous books for teachers, including the award-winning A Year of Hands-on Science published by Scholastic Teaching Resources. She is also the author of Scholastic's Using Caldecotts Across the Curriculum. Joan lives in South Burlington, Vermont.
