5.0 out of 5 stars An Unforgettable Tale of Devotion and Courage, November 6, 2001
By crazy4canines (United States) - See all my reviews
This is absolutely one of the most outstanding literary works
that I have ever read. Although the book is an easy read, the storyline is fascinating and spellbinding. You won't be able to
put this book down until you finish it! It's a rare find today--
a story of love, devotion, courage, and sacrifice. You will be
reminded of what the true meaning of Christmas is. This book should be read by all young girls and women. Treat yourself to
a tale that is destined to become a Christmas classic!! Enjoy!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful old-fashioned story of love and kindness, December 8, 2000
By A Customer
This is a wonderful, wonderful book, and should be at the top of your Christmas list for that special girl in your life. It has everything--wonderful characters, exciting on-the edge of your seat plot, beautiful language and imagry, and an old-fashioned message of selfless love, and of reaching out to others in need. I don't want to say more because I don't want to give anything away. Buy it, read it first, then give it to as many children as you know. ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting Journey, December 7, 2003
This review is from: The Christmas Doll (Paperback)
This is the story of two sisters who only have each other in all the world. Faced with illness in the orphanage they try to make it out on the streets - it isn't easy each day they are hungry cold tired and afraid. The girls never give up their determination to stay together and remember happy times. They also show the true spirit of Christmas is giving. This story is well written and beautifuly told. It is recommended for children 9 - 12 but my daughter enjoyed having it read to her at age six. I think the story would even appeal to children older than 12.
