He translated Elvis: The Unquiet Grave (1994) and he co-translated Cuban American Theater (1992). He has also redered into English the poetry of Pablo Neruda, Jose Marti, Ruben Dario, Heberto Padilla, Alfredo Leiseca and three novels by Reinaldo Arenas.
