Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Bull Head is a medley of writings covering a wide variety of subjects, emotions, and occasions. As a whole it gives tremendous insight into the mind of the author, but every reader will no doubt identify with individual pieces and the universal themes of humanity it explores. The first section contains works of prose ranging from the intensely romantic to the peculiarly fascinating. The goal is certainly to stimulate the mind of the reader as the author shares his thoughts and feelings.

The second section contains works of poetry grouped by the times in which they were written. The themes again vary widely covering such subjects as love, depression, metaphysics, and everyday life. It is particularly interesting to watch as the poems evolve in style and subject matter. Throughout the book you will notice the influence of many writers, yet the author will surprise you with his original perspective on those aspects of life which are common to us all.

About the Author
Brian Mueller is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. In the past several years he has traveled far and wide in the name of business but has retained his romantic view of people and the world. Brian is currently living in Ohio and working on his goal of becoming a writer.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have, January 29, 2003
By David S. Mohl (Atlanta, Georgia United States) - See all my reviews
I recently picked up Brian Mueller's book and strongly recommend it. Words cannot adequately describe the treasure contained in the pages. Brian truly has a rare gift to take intensely personal experiences and eloquently generalize them in a way such that other people can relate to Brian's life experiences. As a writer, Brian is a pleasant, striking return to the kind of romantic subject matter previously encompassed by such great wordsmiths as Bob Dylan and Jackson Browne. Brian speaks with the authority of someone who has experienced a great deal to pursue a romantic ideal. Fortunately for us, he shares that ideal in Bull Head.
