This is a book by a Master and a Beginner, a high-ranking Black Belt and a low-ranking White Belt. Patrick McDermott brings the insights of the Beginner's Mind. Ferol Arce is an 8th Dan Shihan. A Black Belt since 1978, Sensei Arce has trained over 75 Shodan at last count.
