If you want to be an police officer on Oahu, get this book. Most of the other big states, like Florida and Cali, have police exam books tailored specifically for their state. However, no one has yet to release a Hawaii one, so this book is a great buy because 1) a real officer details police academy life with helpful tips he used to get through, 2) while the book doesn't come with a complete list of questions and no answers, it gives you insight into what you should be studying and specific statutes you need to know.
