About the Author

Ali Morteza Samsam Bakhtiari’s grandparents were all from the Bakhtiari tribe. His professional career, spanning some thirty-five years, was spent in the Iranian oil industry. Bakhtiari was educated in Switzerland and now lives in Tehran, Iran.
