Product Description
Honor Bright, one of Cindy Mclean's Favorite horses, is old enough for her first racing season!Cindy can't wait to be her jockey. So Cindy is terribly upset when she has an accident during a training session and the doctor says she wont be able to ride for a while.

Now Jeremy Correll--a young, new jockey--will get to race her new horse. Jeremy is an excellent jockey, but Cindy beleives that only she can ride honor to victory. Will Cindy be able to swallow her pride and watch Jeremy race Honor? Or will she ignore her doctors orders and try to ride again? --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

2.0 out of 5 stars I don't like Cindy, August 14, 2002
By Kee (Canada) - See all my reviews
I really miss Ashleigh and Samantha, what's with cindy? I mean she was okay in the start, though I could tell something wasn't right, then I found that Joanna had stopped writing and it was someone else! that's where the difference came in, it wasn't Joanna's writing style at all, thought I'm sure Bentley did her best. It's just that Cindy seems so...I don't know snobbish? I mean, every good horse has to be her's. And I thought thi series was about Ashleigh? Then Samantha? when someone starts focusing to much on one character like Cindy, it throws the whole thing off. The series started with Ash and Sammy, I thought Sammy and Tor would get married! (Though in Super Addition Samantha's Journey, I find out that they do!) Anyways, I just wish more of the stories could be focused back on the favourites.
Thanks, Kee

4.0 out of 5 stars Cindys Honor, July 18, 2005
A Kid's Review
In Cindys Honor, Cindy Mclean is finally a jockey. Cindy rode Wonders Champion to victory in the Dubia World Cup. Wonders Champion was one of Whitebrooks fastest horses ever. Champion won the Tripple Crown with Ashleigh Griffen riding him. Wonders Champion was sure a champion. Cindy watched the colt grow up to be the biggest threat in the country. Now that Honor Bright was old enough to race. Honor Bright was Townsend Princess first foal. Townsend was also a great racehorse like her brother, Champion. Cindy watched the filly play with the other yearlings and beating them in racing around the paddock up to be a promsing racehorse. But during a workout, Honor throws Cindy off and Cindy is forced from riding. Cindy wont be allowed to ride any of the other horses and Cindy knows only she can ride Honor. Honor Bright is a picky filly who only likes certain people riding her. Then Cindy finds out, Ashleigh Griffen, the famous jockey who owned half intrest in Honor and helped trained the racehorses has put up one of Townsend Acres jockeys up on the filly. Townsend Acres was almost a rival with Whitebrook Farm for their racehorses. Cindy askes Ashleigh why she wont ride Honor when Ashleigh tells Cindy she is pregnate again. Will Cindy obey the doctors orders or will she watch someone else ride her beloved filly? Find out in Cindys Honor. Or email me at Blades60@aol.com

4.0 out of 5 stars I don't know how you guys can hate Cindy!, October 24, 1999
By A Customer
Here's my opinion. Karen Bentley was trying hard to please us. She probably read all these, no wonder she quit writing it. The only book I didn't like by her was Glory's Triumph. I tihnk the series would have been good if the new authors (Allison Estes and co.) stayed with at least Bentley's facts. Like that Ashleigh was pregnant again. I agree with Claire: I wish wholeheartedly that Christina had had a sister that was into racing. My name is Christina, and I love both three day eventing, show jumping, and racing. So please everyone. We don't want this series to end suddenly, so let's take what we have and hold onto it. Don't lose it or we'll lose this series. Christina
