Product Description
Will Parker make the team?

Parker Townsend and his Thoroughbred mare, Foxglove, have proven that they have the talent to compete in the Olympics in combined training. But they still haven't made the team. Parker can't figure it out. He's won more events than any of his competitors, and Foxy is in top form. No jump is too high for them, no dressage course too technical. So why haven't the Olympic stewards asked him to join the team?

His trainer, Samantha McLain, knows why. Parker isn't a team player. He always does his best and usually wins, but sometimes that's not enough. In order to compete, Parker must show the Olympic stewards that he can help out his team members and ride for the team.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, August 24, 2003
By "horsecrazy91" (Texas, USA) - See all my reviews
I liked this book, because I've been a fan of Parker since he was introduced. This book is really very close to what goes on during those big events and the life of an eventer, so much as I know. But here's anwser to a widely asked question: The story doesn't end itself because the editors/publishers cut off the last chapter to make the book shorter. ..

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!! (till the end), December 28, 2001
By Kelly (MN USA) - See all my reviews
The book was really really good, when I picked it up I couln't put it down. It's one of the best TB books yet. But the ending really stinks. It leaves it on a total clif-hanger, but not in a good way at all!! I was so mad when I got to the end at the story just ended (i wont give it away) like that!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Parker ? Foxy ? TB is going downhill !, June 27, 2002
A Kid's Review
Ok first off. This book was ok. Not great not horrible. If you like a good read about Parker than go ahead. Give this book a try. If you are a loyal TB reader then I would say read this book and be very dissapointed. Parker gets a new horse - which Ihappen to like alot. He still has Foxy but what's up with Foxy...? I mean come on writers !...Argggg...... Ok Parker has been a great character from the beginning - well at least I liked him. This book makes parker almost look bad. What has happened to funny never cares about a thing Parker!...Double Humph. All I have to say is that this book series ended at about book 24. I want the old charcters and the old series back.
