3.0 out of 5 stars Trey Callaway Writes a Creepy, If Somewhat Cheesy Sequel, March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This paperback contains a copy of Trey Callaway's screenplay for "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer". It contains almost everything we saw in the movie, with emphasis on a nice creepy setting and some very gory death scenes. Some parts of the screenplay (like when Ray and his friend encounter the mannequin in the road) pay a nice tribute to the original, but some of the dialogue (in particular that of the Fisherman, Ben Willis) is written poorly and is oozing with cheese, as is the addition of his son Will Benson into the story. Finally, the ending is a pale imitation of Kevin Williamson's original "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Overall however, a satisfying read, especially for horror buffs.
