Product Description
Alien Nation was a ground-breaking and thought-provoking televison program that was part science fiction and part hard-hitting police drama-- taking on tough social issues. Despite raves from critics as well as a loyal following, Alien Nation was canceled, but not before additional scripts were created. Now, Pocket Books is proud to present the novelization of one of these never-before-seen scripts. Matthew Sikes and his Tenctonese partner George Francisco try to unearth the truth behind the hysteria generated by the reports of the birth of the first half-human, half-Tenctonese child. Meanwhile, Sikes and his Tencotnese friend Cathy find their relationship heating up and realize they can no longer deny their feelings. They quickly learn just how dangerous human-Tenctonese love can be, and how far it can go...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for those who want to follow up on their favorite characters, June 9, 2007
By Evan the Dweezil (A Place-Sort Of, Montana) - See all my reviews
This is a well written continuation of the Alien Nation universe. As someone who enjoyed the program a great deal, this was a great way to keep going with the thought provoking meeting of the worlds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book from a great author!, May 31, 2007
Peter David is a great author. I know his work from Star Trek. This book was wonderfully written. Like another poster, I also found it better that the child was a "child" rather than an infant, but that was a minor detail. Since I saw the movie first, reading the book only enhanced the book's detail for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book!!!, May 15, 2001
By A Customer
This was another great alien nation book, any fan of the show and movies will love it. The book is also a movie, but is much better. Some things were changed but it only made the book better. The only thing I didn't like was that the child twin in the movie, is an infant in the book, but it really doesn't matter. This book, like the two before it, let you see more into the characters than the short lived series was able too. I don't think they will ever make new shows, but the alien nation books are a great way to continue the series. For a fan of the show, its better than nothing. I only wish I'd known these books existed sooner. This book is a little hard to find, but well worth the search.
