I saw the other negative reviews and was very surprised. This book has been a wonderful tool. I was comfortable with QUE books and purchased a QUE book on ACCESS 97. I hated it. I purchased this book and found it to be everything I needed. It is a true comprehensive reference book. I can look up what I am having trouble with and go to that section to have my problem answered. Not so with the QUE book I had. I highly recommend this book!

I own a number of Access 97 books at different levels from teach yourself up to the Developers Handbook. This is the book I have found to contain the least useful information. Do yourself a favor and look at other books.

I bought this book because I've been very pleased with other "Unleashed" titles.

However, I have to agree with the other reviewers here. The index is lousy and I haven't yet been able to find what I need. I've been trying to find out how to use the "Filter by Form" toolbar button and I haven't found it either in the Index or table of contents.

Next time I'll read the Amazon reviews first (like I usually do)!
