3.0 out of 5 stars A new face for an old book, September 14, 2000
By A Customer
This book has a very good visual presentation, but the content is surpassed. It seems that the authors never made a good review in the biochemistry section. They still talk about lactic acid, where all the biochemistry books talk about lactate. There are mistakes in bioenergetics, where the authors refer to muscle metabolism to what really occurs in the liver. This book was one of the best. Now it is history.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great service, great item, April 27, 2009
This book is exactly what it says, and easy to read. A little dumbed down, but this may be helpful for many readers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect., March 2, 2009
Very Satisfied.

Pros: Book is exactly shown in picture and as described. Paperback and includes CD and online access codes/tutorial. CHEAPER than school bookstore :)

Cons: Shipment could be a little faster.

4.0 out of 5 stars The teacher wants you to ge the book, you get the book
The book is ok as an intro to Exercise Physiology. Well done. Should be around 40 dollars and no more. We are getting charged way to much for textbooks. Read more
