Excellent book for the wards and for the shelf. The book is as comprehensive as you can get for a review book. Excellent organization of the chapters, and great meticulous detail. I love the fact that it starts every chapter with a review of the relevant anatomy and physiology. The book is so great that I ended up abandoning my use of surgery recall, as NMS was more than enough prepration for the pimp questions.

Covers a lot, great review for shelf exam. Very organized. Mostly an outline similar to the BRS series, but longer. Not many questions, so I used a qBank to practice with this. There are a few questions in the text.

It is very excellent book for your surgery rotation exam, especialy of you have limited time, But not very usful to be use in round as it is written on its cover!!
