A great book, Don has had a long and successful career drag racing. I had no idea how much safety inovation Don was responsable for!!! If it was not for his accidents and vision the sport would not be as safe as it is today. It slows down down some times with all the detail but that detail is what makes it so good.

The book covers the life story of Don Garlits and the sport of Drag Racing from the late 1940s to 1990. easy reading, good for the youngsters and drag racing fans alike.
