I have owned this 5 volume set since 1976 and used it through the years. The Interpreter's Bible Dictionary is a very useful tool for anyone who:

1) Wants instant access to a broad range of scholarship. 2) Wants to buy one dictionary and not need others. 3) Wants to comply with 2 Timothy 2:15

The charts, maps, illustrations, bibliography, multi-lingual references and notes make this set a must for anyone who wants to understand or study the Bible. It is a welcome addition to any library.

The content is excellent but the interface of software is very bad. You can not copy and paste any word in the content, and the item browser is much unconvenient. These unfriendly design made this CD-ROM edition valueless. However, the new Interpreter's Bible on CD-ROM owns a much better design.
