About the Author

Peter Ryan is Senior Lecturer at the Percy FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology at the University of Cape Town, a partner of Birding Africa, and the author of "Practical Birding". Patrice Christy, Central Africa's top birder, has researched birds in the Congo Basin for 20 years. Phil Hockey is Associate Professor at Cape Town University's Institute for African Ornithology.
