Editorial Reviews

Product Description

This introductory text for courses in behavioural genetics has been thoroughly updated and made more accessible to students, with a new focus on what we know about genetics in psychology rather than how we know it.Divided into sections on cognitive disabilities, psychopathology, personality, health psychology and biopsychology, and the environment, this third edition emphasizes the clinical aspects of behavioral genetics that are most interesting to students, as well as the technological advances that are making the field more exciting than ever. Special boxes and appendices provide information on research methodology, describe the history of the field, and offer information on its practitioners. A new glossary has been added.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent introduction, January 5, 2007
This review is from: Behavioral Genetics (Hardcover)
This is an excellent introduction to a potentially complex paradigm. The concepts are presented in clear and simple language. Examples are used from the current literature to illustrate the points being discussed.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Behavioural Genetics
