Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review

David Whittle explores the problems and potential of cyberspace in this engrossing and thorough treatment. He first offers an overview of what cyberspace is and how its norms and customs have developed. Whittle then moves on to discuss how participation in cyberspace affects the individual, community, business, and government in all of society. His own beliefs are interjected at times, and unfortunately he can't resist some not-so-subtle pushing of his views in an otherwise first-rate discussion of vice on the Net. For the most part, Whittle performs a valuable--and rare--service by resisting easy answers in favor of judicious recommendations.

A fantastic book, I wish that I was a girl so that I could have his babies. More people in the world should change their names to "David Whittle."
