The typing in this book is small so it is hard to read.

"You get what you pay for," is what my Grandfather always told me. So true. This edition of the Holy Bible by Nelson Bibles is printed with the purpose of being inexpensive while including the entire Old and New Testaments. This is a good quality mass trade paperback edition. The three columns per page text is a unique feature. The corner that was cut when making an inexpensive edition is the size of the print. I wear tri-focals and have a difficult time reading the text due to the small print size. The 3 star rating--no reflection on God's Word as His Word always exceeds 5 stars--is due to the small size print, the three column text, and the misleading "User's Guide on Back." I found the three columns to be distracting and hard on the eyes. Again, the goal was to make this edition inexpensive thus the three columns. This copy is as thick and nearly the same size as my study Bible so it is easy to hold and turning of pages. What I found misleading was on the bottom front of the cover stating, "User's Guide on Back." When I read that statement, my thoughts were how to use the Bible, maybe the plan of salvation and how to get the most out of your Bible reading. Instead, when you look at the back cover; what is stated is, "Great Evangelism Tool; Priced for the Perfect Gift; Light, Easy to Carry." Below that the blurb continues, "Plus, these great features: Unique Three-column Typesetting; Top-of-Page Subject Headings; Full Text of NKJV." This is a good full edition of the Bible at a low price but not for every day use unless you have very good eyesight and can easily read small-size print.
