is a need for a British or European text which takes an integrated approach to Restorative Dentistry. Apart from a wide variety of texts on topics which might reasonably come under the umbrella of restorative dentistry, the competition at present is probably from a number of comprehensive North American texts but these tend to address restorative dentistry as crown and bridgework, perhaps with reference to periodontal and/or endodontic aspects but probably not including removable prosthodontics.

Dentistry: An integrated approach is aimed at undergraduates and newly qualified practitioners and is intended to be used in addition to practical classes and extensive reading.
