4.0 out of 5 stars A 1L must have!, May 11, 2000
By A Customer
Constitutional Law I- was probably the most difficult first year law school course that I had. The sheer volume of reading required hours of preparation. As a supplement - this book is invaluable. In a straightforward manner, the book explains the Commerce Clause, powers of Congress, Executive Immunity, Judicial Review, Privileges and Immunities, State Action, etc... The examples are common questions a student would find on an exam. The explanations work through each level of analysis required to understand Con Law. I found the book most helpful in preparing for finals. The book is current, containing the latest case law. Your Con Law professor probably bought this book - I would strongly recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great buy!, June 21, 2000
By A Customer
Although this book doesn't cover everything my class did, it was invaluable in providing a broad overview of the subject and some insights that I hadn't focused on before. Also a lifesaver during exam time! I strongly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wise choice, November 26, 2003
This study aide was extremely helpful for exam review. This book provides the student who has kept up in class with a succinct overview of the topic. When you are reading case after case during the semester, it is easy to miss the overall course ideology, unless you have a good professor who will tie it all together for you. This book is good at providing the appropriate level of detail to the student for a comprehensive review of the critical points in Con Law I.

4.0 out of 5 stars Helpful, not a lifesaver
I bought this book because I found the E & E Civil Procedure book extremely helpful. This one was good, but didn't have as many concrete problems as the civ pro book did. Read more
