I picked up this Tarot out of curiosity; the art is certainly lovely and I would highly recommend it to any collector of decks for their art. To readers, however, I recommend seeking a different deck.

The card stock is nice and firm, with a finish that makes it easy to handle; size wise, it is the standard size for Tarot (larger than playing cards- four fingers wide, tall as palm to last index finger joint on the average adult hand).

The art is very beautiful but not particularly evocative of any of the cards' traditional meanings. By way of example: The Fool is displayed as a beggar on the street in the ragged remains of papal garb; the Hanged Man is decorated with an image of a puppet master giving a show for children.

All very lovely cards but not very true to Tarot's meanings or traditional symbolism.

Still, I recommend them as highly for collectors as I don't for readers. Beautiful but shallow cards.
