Product Description

Did you know Pope John VIII was actually a woman? Or that the U.S. Government smashed a bacteria-laden lightbulb in a New York subway station in 1966 to see how long it would take to travel throughout the entire system? You will after reading the Book of Secrets. Everybody loves secrets and the world is full of them. And now the most interesting secrets are unleashed in Book of Secrets. Full of fascinating facts, this is one read you won't be able to put down!

The clandestine, the covert, the surreptitious, furtive, and hush-hush are all revealed. Government secrets, religious secrets, food secrets, economic secrets, sexual secrets, secret societies, secret recipes-they're all in here.

Within the pages of this book, one can find practical secrets revealed, such as how to guarantee a better seat on an airplane and how to win friends and influence people. Book of Secrets also contains some not-so-practical tidbits (all the more intriguing) such as famous American members of the Freemasons.

Each book is bound with an irrestistible red leatherette flexicover with ribbon marker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicely presented and interesting, January 9, 2007
By Mr. Toby Weiss (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews

The 'Book of Secrets' comes in an attractive faux leather binding giving it the impression of 'something special'. The contents are nicely laid out and presented. The variation of the facts inside the book makes it a truly interesting read. Its the type of book you can pick up and put down many times and not get tired of it. The secrets (facts) are great conversation starters and eyebrow raisers. This book is a great buy and a worthwhile gift.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just OK, January 28, 2009

This review is from: Book of Secrets (Paperback)
The first secret of this book is that it's quite small. The secrets within vary from fascinating to mundane. Since the secrets are in no particular order, I'd recommend just thumbing through the pages, stopping to read any secrets which interest you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Secrets - Little Known Facts, November 11, 2008
This review is from: Book of Secrets (Paperback)
When I saw this book, I thought it was The Bible. It was! The bible of little known information. Very cleverly packaged in a black cover with a cloth bookmark. Nice touch. It got my attention.

It is a very entertaining book that you will find extremely hard to put down. If there is one negative, it would be that there is an overload of "secret' information on the NY subway system. But then again, it is all fun and interesting.

My favorite secret was about Hitler's....I'm not telling. Buy the book.
