Product Description
This book is the biography of the last Ching Dynasty, Emperor of China, Tsuan Tung-Pu Yi. He became Emperor as a child, born in Peking in 1906, and ascended the imperial throne at the age of three. He was the last emperor of China. He later abdicated and became a puppet emperor of "Manchukou," Japanese imperialism's pseudo-state in Northeast China.
The book gives a vivid picture of the last decadent days of the Ching Imperial Court. After the overthrow of the dynasty, the various feudal forces plotted with foreign powers to restore the monarchy. The book then describes how the Japanese imperialists made him a puppet emperor in the northeast of China. It describes his life as "Emperor of Manchukou" under the Japanese occupying army.
