I would advise every woman to read this book!, November 6, 2003
By A Customer
I loved this book from beginning to end. It explains how sometimes being overwight doesn't necessarily mean having too much fat, but fluid retention could be one of the causes. If you are one of those people that is always on a diet and performing lots of execercise and still find it hard to shed those extra pounds, you will find this book extremely helpful. Some bits are quite scientific but still easy to read and well explained. The book initially helps you to find out if fluid retention could be your problem, what are the reasons that causes it and how to fix the problem. The book offers a diet program, easy to follow with easy and delicious recepies. I tried the program and followed the advices and it works! To help speed up the proccess of fluid elimination try some diuretic herbal teas as well.

Excellent book Really Works!!, March 31, 2005
I just recieved this book and have been on the diet for 2 days now and have lost over 6lbs already. I have not seen my legs this small in a long time. I will admit I was a little concerned about getting enough protien and some of the dangers of soy. But after some research on this book and the diet itself, I am no longer concerned. A good rule of thumb to stick by is everything is good in moderation. You get plenty of protien through chicken, fish, and tofu. This book is excellent on pinpointing the culprit for your symptoms. I've had some of these symptoms from a teenager and never knew why. After being on it for only a few days I have never felt better. I would recommend this book.

waterfall Diet, September 10, 2006
This is the start of my 3rd day on this diet. I lost a pound when I got up Sat. and another today, Sun. I have never lost two pounds in two days on any diet.
I can see the lumpy look(water retention?) on the inside of my arms noticeably just about gone.
I made notes as I read the book and went to the natural foods store where they helped me find all of the supplements mentioned. I also purchased all of the foods mentioned, which are also my favorites.
I spent the day experimenting in my kitchen and made a nice project out of finding things that worked for us. I made a pot of brown rice, steamed a head of cabbage with cumin, dill, pepper and Mrs. Dash. I also diced up purple onion and red bell peppers to add to the cabbage. I had bought a jar of Thai curry paste and coconut milk which I mixed together in a very small amount and poured it on top of the cabbage which I had spooned on top of the rice. I thought I was in a Thai restaurant, and not on a diet.
I had bought frozen Shrimp Scampi at Costco, heated up about 10 pieces and put them on top, too. It was so quick and easy. All of this is not exactly low fat, but I lost weight anyway. My husband only weighs once a week, so no results on him yet.
Besides the fennel and peppermint tea I also bought something called obesity tea and mixed them all together, making a very large pot and drinking them as my 60 oz of water during the day.
Besides this, I got Costco's vanilla soy milk, added their pure juice(Capri sun) some blueberries and made smoothies, to which I added orange flavored fiber power which improved the taste even more. It was so good that my husband was looking forward to the next one. We drank those in between meals.
I also got 3 packs of Tilapia(fish) from Costco, separated them into small freezer bags of one meal for 2, and now they're frozen but ready to use. We fried them with Mrs. Dash, garlic, and cornmeal using olive oil. Delicious!
I should also add that I was working at my computer most of the day, but do get some exercise in the evening using 2-lb. weights in arm exercises while jogging on our mini trampoline ( 39.00 at Sports Chalet) while watching the evening news. My husband and I take turns, like every 5 minutes.
I have not gotten around to making the celery and parsley juice yet, will do that today, and no, I don't work for Costco! I have noticed that every time I go there they have more and more organic food. Oh, I also got their organic pumpkin-flax grainola which I sprinkled on my yougurt (haven't found goat-type yet) along with their mixed dried fruit and nuts medley. Great stuff.
