Week in Review

I hope US residents had a great Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to our 90 degree weather, we spent the weekend grilling and in the pool.

I had another awesome chat over at Romance Junkies this past Sunday. Thanks to all who came out, despite the holiday weekend. I’ve also been asked by TwoLipsReviews.com to come chat in June. Once the date is confirmed, I’ll post it here.

Good news. The novellas are completed and have now been turned into my editor. Doing the Snoopy dance!! I will be putting up excerpts from the collection soon, and hopefully I’ll have confirmation of the title.

I’ve already got back into my new series. I’m going to try to get it finished in the next two weeks. I’m still thinking of series names, but I have titled the book - UNRIVALED. Its so great to get back to these characters. Speaking of, they’re calling me back to the book….

Week in Review

6:30 AM PDT, April 2, 2008
Last week was spent reading over ECHOES OF MAGIC before I send it in to my editor. I like the way the story came out, and I’m anxious to write the last book in the trilogy now. But, it’ll have to wait. I’ve got some more revisions on a couple of other books that I must do because I’ve put them off. Then, I’ll be starting Aimery’s book next week.

I’ve gotten so many emails from readers - and even my editor - wanting to know when and if I’ll be writing Aimery’s book. If anyone has read any of the books from The Druid’s Glen, The Shields or The Royal Chronicles series, you’ll find Aimery is there. I knew I couldn’t write his story until those three series were finished, which means, its now time. Aimery has been after me for quite awhile to write his story. I can no longer put him off.

I got a surprise in the mail last week. The cover flats for The Pleasure of His Bed. I loved the cover before, but now that I get to hold the cover flat, its even better. I didn’t get but a handful, but I’m hoping I can wiggle a few more out of my editor. Hopefully.

For all those who stopped by the chat at Romance Junkies last night - THANK YOU! I had such a blast. Normally, I don’t have problems keeping up with the chats, but those questions were flying like mad! I think I answered all of them, but if I missed yours, it wasn’t on purpose. Promise.
