Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Rare action photos and a thoroughly researched text examine the seldom-covered subject of German airborne soldiers in World War II. Concen- trating on actions in the Low Countries, the seizure of Crete, fighting on the Eastern and Western fronts, and battles in Italy, the book draws rare imagery and accounts of the campaigns.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Book, November 18, 2001
By Joseph Pentecost (Arlington, TN United States) - See all my reviews
This book covers the German parachue forces from their beginning until the end of W.W. II. The book has lots of photographs, some seen here for the first time. But, unfortunately, whoever did the research mis-captioned a great number of them. Other than this fcat, it is till a useful book for military historians.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Fascinating!, March 23, 2001
By Alex Yim (Nottingham, MD USA) - See all my reviews
This book is informative and comprehensive about Fallschirmjager in World War II. It illustrates many photos and detailed narration that are easy to understand about German Paratroopers' creation, campaigns of the war in Europe and Africa, and distinctive equipment and weapons.
